Hi, just a short story about my German Shepherd, i used to work in a large factory, and when i left from home to go to the job i always rushed out and did not make a fuss of it, because if you do a lot out of saying good buy to the dog i have learned that you in essence are rising the fear and anxiety in the dog. If you are the alpha leader you should be able to leave, without any great excitement from the dog.

But back to the story, i where told by my son that my German Shepherd reacted to me, when i was about to leave the place i was working heading home, it was only a few miles from my workplace and the way he reacted was with a walk around inside the house, and where always sitting in front of the door watching the door, and where excited and always gave a warm welcome when i came in. It is obvious that dogs must have a strong connection with the owner, because he could every time predict when i was arriving, before i was on my way home, almost as if he could read my mind.

Dogs must have a stronger telepathic connection than we have, maybe it is an inheritance from their ancestors the wild dogs, i don’t know but really it is very interesting, i have had one other shepherd dog not a German Shepherd but a collie, and he reacted just in the same fashion ran to the door and sat in front of the door window, about hour before i where coming in the door. And it looks like the distance from my workplace did not matter at all, because when i had my collie i lived about an hour’s drive from work, with my German Shepherd i had moved closer to the place i worked, and only had ten minutes to drive. So the connection between the dog owner and the dog is not affected by distance, because the reaction was the same from both of my dogs. If you have had dogs this is probably not new to you, but nevertheless it is very interesting and i have put up a video from you-tube which is about
